This weekend Saffy competed at the dog show at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. As of of Friday morning she started the competition with 10 points needing 5 more to become an AKC champion, and she has had a spectacular weekend so far. The hope was that she would get 5 or close to 5 points, but so far she has taken 14 points at the competition.
Day one (Friday) first OES specialty she took Best of Winners with a 5 point major and became champion. In the second specialty she took Best of Opposite for another 5 points.

Day 2 (Saturday) she took Best of Opposite for yet another 4 points.
If I am doing the math right that makes her an AKC champion, with 9 points towards Grand Champion.
